Last night a couple buddies and I hit the bars. We came back to my place and being pretty trashed, I didnt feel like cooking for 3 people. So I got online and ordered a pizza from Dominos. I waited around for like 45 minutes before I finally passed out.

Woke up this morning to a trashed kitchen b/c these jackasses decided to make something.

"Dudes, did that pizza ever get here?"
-No
--You ordered it at 130am. They were closed, they're gonna deliver it at 1130am today

So I re-check the email confirmation.

UNBELIEVABLE

So I'm dropping these guys off, it's 1115am now, and I remember I gotta call these morons and tell them not to deliver this thing. The video below is perhaps the stupidest phone call I've ever made in my life.....(first 30 seconds are slow)

I'm convinced the pizza and the box it comes in share a recipe.

I don't mind Domino's Pizza but that's because I spent a summer (20-years ago) as a driver for them when I was in college. I just think it's funny that you got online to order the pizza rather than picking up the phone and just calling.

That is definitely a bug in their online ordering system though. Considering how many wasted people I remember delivering to (drugs and alcohol) you'd think they'd build something into the system to check orders placed after a certain time of night. I'm sure they know who their customers are at that time.

Am I seriously the only person who doesn't mind Domino's? Usually on my Friday nights driving home from work where I am presented with the choice of either McDonald's or Domino's/Pizza Hut, I'm going with the latter.

Ya, I could see getting lost by that one. Why woudl they accept orders? Or, in the online system have two options; you select the time (in the event that you want the pizza the next morning) or as soon as possible (that is only available when the store is open).

Oh well, too bad. I suppose the majority of this forum would much rather me purchase a pizza made with Italian tomatoes and truffles.

Or maybe alert you when you order....'Location is closed at this time"

Big idea, I know.

It doesn't have to be expensive or high-end; it just has to taste decent. The local pizza joint (Napoli's) where I went to college was actually cheaper than Domino's but far superior in quality.
