I popped into his shop on Rodeo today to try on an awesome SC I saw in the window. A minute later Vacca emerges from the back and started helping me himself. Looking at the cuts, explaining the rationale behind certain fabric choices, we talked for about a half hour and he couldn't have been nicer. It was a very enlightening conversation about cloths and the business of fashion, something I'm interested in. In the end he didn't push me to buy anything and invited me personally to come back anytime.

Sure he likes his cloths, but you don't get to where he is without being confident. The guy helped me, a random albeit well dressed 20 something year old, like I was... well Jeremy Piven.

The point is it's easy to be quick to judge any public figure from an interview. You need to meet them when public perception is not at stake to have any idea. He was wearing a DV monogrammed shirt which I thought was suspect
