I am interested in a Dolce & Gabbana shirt which is marked 15 3/4, which I know is the collar size. Can anyone with knowledge of the brand tell me what sort of chest/shoulder (most importantly chest) measurements a shirt of this size and brand would have?

I guess it would be the equivilent of a size 38, which is chest, but does a 38 - in this brand or brands in general - usually measure more than that at the chest?

If it helps, I usually wear a 40 or a 16. An actual tape measure around my chest will give me a measurement of almost exactly 38 inches.

    It's tough buying online.

Doesn't anyone have experience with this brand?

Usually they are slim, but I've seen the 15 3/4 neck size shirts have a chest range of 42-46".

I would say that the shirt I am looking at is slim, (I wouldn't be looking at it if it weren't) so would it be any smaller than 42?

    Thanks
