I recently bought a Dolce & Gabbana cashmere sweater on Yoox. My only nice cashmere sweaters have been from Malo and Johnstons of Elgin. These were thicker chunkier sweaters. The D & G one is made in Italy and supposedly has a retail price of $1k but the material is quite fine for the arms and back (the front panel and neckline is thicker). I would expect that they use high end cashmere but because it is thin I am questioning keeping it for $290. Will it be durable if it looks sheer when held up to the light?
