I guess tassel loafers are not for me.

The whole look is extremely stylized, but just so you get the idea of a younger dude doing the tassel loafer thing...

correction, most men over 50 shouldn't wear jeans as they do not tend to their physical apppearance. If one takes care of themselves, then completely disregard the aforementioned...

Nice backtrack. Your point reminds me of an old poem:

Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'm a schizophrenic
and so am I.

I think this is tassle loafers in a casual setting done right. Feel free to disagree

I do like the shoes minus the tassels. My mom bought me tasseled loafers one time when I was a teenager and I ripped them off.

Now that's what I'm talking about - nice! And those Aldens are beautiful shoes, regardless.

The only guy I know who wears tassel loafers is about 75 years old.

I picked these up not too long ago and find them quite nice for casual dress. I had my doubts for a young person, but my mind is changed.

Agree with the masses the tasseled loafers you showed are more 74 than 24.

The suede Aldens are significantly better. But, I worry if you missed on the loafer as badly as you did that you're going to miss on the other pieces that might help you pull off that look.
