1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Yes.

I listen to 80's rock, pop, glam rock, and musicals. I dress kind of gay.

Not at all. I find that very strange when people try and fit into a certain lifestlye. Seems that they are living their life to please others.

My style is boring and most people would say my taste in music is boring so I guess. Not much of a lyrical person so I just go with instrumental music/drowned out vocals. Jazzy instrumental music like this really makes me happier.

    My style: trad, prep

    My music: hip hop, rap

    I must be Andre 3000

Or everyone in my high school.

I'm genuinely surprised how many people used to, or still listen to, punk.

I listen to a wide array of musical styles; but mostly like house, chill out, some older and newer rock and recently dub step.

I don't dress accordingly to any music really, but sometimes I could look like a club head...in a club.

sometimes. i listen to a lot of shit but generally speaking, it probably doesn't since i gravitate towards 60s/70s soul and funk. i should technically dress like sly stone or something but it's more a cross between caddyshack and jcrew.

thx for letting me know there is at least one person out there other than myself who listens to natsumen one of my favourite songs of all time is whole lotta summer. They don't sound jazzy because youtube sucks and makes everything so low quality. They are a Japanese Progressive HardCore JAZZ Aggressive Improvisation ROCK band.

I also listen to too wide a spectrum of bands and artists, so no.. However, it may be fun to dress differently each day, according to music I've listened.. Monday oldschool grunge (Kurt Cobain), Tuesday '69 Bob Dylan, next day Miles Davis, on Thursday the ever-stylish Serge Gainsbourg and top it on Friday night with Dead Kennedys.. I'm just not sure how to fit the ocassional Wangnerian opera into it.. [IMG]

    i love(d) have heart.

anyway. i guess so. i was a (non racist) skinhead in the mid late 80s and then sort of morphed into the straight edge hardcore thing. i'm in my late 30s now, but that foundation still exists for me. i listen to a lot of british oi bands like cock sparrer and cockney rejects. so i am really influenced by the cleanest parts of skinhead fashion. baracuta. fred perry. etc.

somewhere along the way it morphed into a bit of this anglophilic trad thing as well and i wear a oliver spencer, universal works, barbour jackets, etc. i guess i'm somewhat inspired by the football casual look as well which is semi-directly tied back towards the skinhead thing.

    so yes?

In as much as my aesthetic can be considered eclectic, the answer's "yes"

Japanese Shibuya-kei and picopop resonate rather keenly with me, since they also contain references to, and pieces of, past eras, especially the 1960s-1980s, given a modern veneer
