Calm down, guys. Don Carlos is trolling you hard. For the record, the Paleo diet is complete and utter bullshit. Name one Olympic athlete that uses the Paleo diet. For every one you can name, I'll name 100 that don't.

And by the way, I have around 12% body fat, so save the name calling for your fat ass 'Bertrand.'

For the record, I follow a strict Paleo diet and I do not eat wheat gluten, and my bodyfat percentage is a little under 7%.

To the OP .. if you don't know the role protein plays in muscle growth .. you should take a step back from the weights and figure that **** out. You're just wasting your time otherwise.

I've found that by eating only predominantly carnivorous or omnivorous animals that my bodyfat has dropped significantly as well- almost to the 10% mark. I believe that the pervasive use of grain in the feeding of herbivorous animals has created meat that is generally inferior, and probably unlike what our ancestors ate in the days of yore. Anthropologists agree that it was unlikely that man was hunting creatures like mammoths during the ice ages as they were far too large and dangerous, and other herbivores were much too fast in the snowy environment. It's more likely that they came in to contact with wolves, large cats, omnivorous rodents, and birds of prey. This also makes sense when you consider how sparse most vegetation was during this key period of human development.

+1

This is why we must adhere only to consuming animals that were accessible to our paleo ancestors. It is what our bodies have evolved to do.

Lawl, dude, I'm sorry, but you are just such an easy target. It's almost not even funny anymore. I mean, seriously? Obviously you didn't know I was trolling; you were genuinely upset. And here you go again, getting genuinely upset. You are a different breed of dumb. I don't even know where to begin with you. ROFL. I mean, Jesus, dude. Trolling you is like winning a fight with a kid in a wheelchair; it's just not even fair. I actually feel a moral obligation not to continue trolling you, because it makes me feel like a bad person. There's a real reward in trolling a legitimately smart person, like Manton. But with you, it's like...fish...barrel...stick of dynamite...where's the sport, ya know? And since your retort is no doubt going to involve calling me a "phaggot" again, may I ask, what's up with the ph-? Just use an f-. We're all family here; it's ok to use our adult words.
