i noticed some people dress like this(mostly young guys), are they trying to pull of the high school boy look or something

Impossible. The only way you might have a chance is if you get a shirt tailored to be untucked (i.e. much shorter than normal), and get it in plaid or whatever... even then you'll either look like a hipster or k-pop star.

Yeah I looked at the mirror few times and I think that it look kind of weird and ended up tucking it in before going out
