Just got my Engineered Garments vest back from the tailor, I just wanted the cinch removed but now it feels almost too snug in the chest... Does it look too tight ?

looks good. the vest is dark so even if it was tight, would be difficult to tell

And it also looks like he found the fountain of youth. I would assume he has lost 10+ years of age. I want what he is drinking

Not too tight but conventionally a waistcoat should have the top button fastened and the bottom one unfastened. It should also cover your trouser waistband and any sign of your shirt belowdecks.

It looks tight around your left shoulder. Unless there is just more shirt fabric. Are you wearing an undershirt?

I always have this problem, either the neck is too big, or the sleeves are too short.. its a trade off

I don't understand the correlation

I have the same problem. Im assuming FlyingLotus has long arms as I do. When buying casual shirts, the only options are whole sizes, S, M, L, XL, etc. When I buy a L, it usually fits great in the body and neck but the sleeves are too short (24-25"). If I size up to XL, the sleeves are perfect (~26"), but now both the body and neck are too loose. Of course this isnt a problem with dress shirts where you can configure a shirt buy neck size & sleeve length.

I like how the vest looks on you. However, because you claimed that they feel a little tight, I would suggest you do something about it. You should NEVER compromise the comfortable for good looks.

If I were you, I wouldn't!
