Does this MA-1 fit okay? Also, broken zipper question.

Just picked up this vintage MA1 and was wondering if it looks like it fits properly. I know they are supposed to be high on the torso but I have to tuck in my shirt. Here are a few pics. Please give me your opinions.

Also, I have a question about the zipper. Unfortunately one of the teeth on the slider side came off, is it possible for a tailor to fix this (see pic below)? It was okay before (as seen in the pic where it is closed), but got messed up.

Thanks.

You'll have find a miracle tailor to be able to replace a zipper tooth.
Better to find a really good tailor and have him put in a new zipper, but that might cost you more than what you'd want to spend if they do it with great care.

Thanks for the advice, Kiya. Sounds like I'm better off finding another one.

Can anyone give me some feedback on the fit, should I look for another small or should I size up? Thanks in advance.

to me the fit on it looks fine. You're right that they are cut short therefore require shirt tuckage to not look sloppy

coincidentally I tried on my MA-1s that I havent worn in 10+ years and realized they're all a size too big, tho at the time when I wore em I thought they fit right.

I like that they're easy to wear without requiring any fuss, and warm

btw, I like that in yours the back doesnt balloon out, which some MA-1s seem to want to do
