Does this blazer look a little... off?

I think it's supposed to be a DH knockoff, but that's not really what attracted me.
The price tag did: $50 along with the peaked, skinny lapels
I know I'll end up getting what I paid for, but I think it'll look okay for a knockaround casual blazer.

However, is it just me, or does the blazer seem kind of... short? A little TOO cropped?

It might be just me but it looked like it rises up in the back even farther...

At this point I feel I should interject with "those are the worst jeans ever, har har".

Also, yes, it looks a little too cropped, like a womans short jacket.

I like bumfreezer jackets, but that's a little too short even for me.

:p Sorry! I couldn't resist. Too short for my tastes.

I have a blazer from H&M that's a lot like that, though a little bit longer. I like it fine, though there's just something that doesn't quite work about it, and I can't put my finger on it (otherwise I'd take it to the tailor). That one could stand to be a tad longer, though, for sure. And maybe the arms need to be slimmed up just a little bit?

Very, very short. The button stance should be higher on such a short jacket, at a minimum.

Yup. I was just about to write this. While I like to play with classic proportions, this just doesn't work. It is really unbalanced. If the jacket were, say 1 1/2" longer, and the arms tidied up a little (slimmer, and higher arm opening), it would look pretty good. As is... not so much.

I think there are a lot of "too"s that could be applied to that jacket.

if it was worn with the right shirt and pants and on a skinnier person like chris from ST it would look fine. but this guy...he's not that skinny, and his pants are too big and ugly.

agreed. Short's all well and good, but when the sleeves are several inches longer than the body, you've gone way past androgynously rock n roll and into "is that from Ann Taylor petites?" territory.

Yea, it would be good if it was longer. Too bad there's no places that sell blazers for fifty bucks.
