Does RL McCallum = C&J Brecon?

Many have referred to the Ralph Lauren McCallum as the "official shoe of SF." My question: Is the RL McCallum a rebranded C&J Brecon? In Cordovan rather than calf, of course.

Both have storm welt, danite soles, three three eyelets. The C&J Brecon is on the 341 last. (pictures of the Brecon and McCallum are attached)

Thanks in advance.

The C&J Chepstow is also a chukka with storm welt and 3 eyelets, but it is on the more rounded 325 last. The Chiltern has 3 eyelets, but does not have the storm welt.
