Need to get some of my Prada and Gucci shoes resoled. Does Gucci and Prada offer a resoling service?

    Thanks.

do you have a rubber non slip sole put on, or strictly bare bottom. im wondering how much longer those thin rubber gripes help the shoes last. im sure any good cobbler could resole them but i too would rather have the maker do it.

I thought you only wore welted shoes?

What construction are Prada and Gucci shoes? Are they blake stitched? l'm not sure.

Goodyear welted shoes are my favourites but sometimes shoes don't come that way.

why don't you just ask your local prada or gucci boutiques? someone there should be able to answer or at least point you in the right direction.

I presume they will take them in and send them to a local repair-shop (at least that what they do in London). No guaranty that the repairman will use original components. Check with the store.

The majority of Italian shoes (Gucci, Prada and Berluti included) use Blake-stitched as the method of choice. If the shoe has a row of stitching (inside the shoe) running around the insole, they are Blake.

    Yeah, they're blake stitched.

I don't think they do them themself, even if the respective store will take them from you.
