Here's the scoop on some Allen Edmonds going on sale for the Nordstrom Anniversary (preview/EarlyAccess) for 2013 is July 10th - July 18th if you have a nordstrom card.

Regular Anniversary sale (for all non-Nordstrom Card holders) is July 19th - August 4th. It's a pretty good idea to get at least a nordstrom Debit card that is just linked to your checking account (no credit check, or hit on your credit score) because in the past, they have run out of product during the first part of the sale.

Allen Edmonds:

Strand - Black & Walnut - $229.90
LaSalle - Black & Chili - $198.90
Maxfield - Black/brown combo, chili - $179
Park Avenue - Black only - $229.90

More importantly, if you have an Allen Edmonds store in your area they will most likely price match the styles they have there to match the Nordy Anniversary price, PLUS a corporate AE store has more colors & widths of each style, belts on sale to match, and more inventory since nordstrom often runs out.

They just opened a store near me in St. Louis (Plaza Frontenac) and also just opened in Birmingham, Philadelphia, Atlanta, somewhere in Ohio, KC, and some other cities that have a Nordstrom.

My recommendation:

Get in touch with an AE store if you need to get something, they'll be just as good as Nordstrom if not better, and the selection is 20X better if you're a die hard AE fan, or just want something that's Made in America and not cheaply done in china like Cole Haan or Johnston & Murphy
