Failing that (I know they're bloody expensive), does anyone know a good cobbler in central London where i can buy good polishes and things.

If you've got a Jones the Bootmaker near you they've currently got a set up largely identical to the first link, reduced to £55 in the sale. Whilst their decent shoe stock is prettty limited, their cleaning products are in my experience very good.

I take it the Jones set is only available in-store? I can't find it on their website.

I can't see on the website either, but it was in the Canterbury store's window this lunchtime.

I didn't manage to get round to Jones' today, but I did check Lobb and C&J. Can't say i hid my shock at the £250 price tag...
