Also a note: If you are interested in this kind of debate and discussion, day after day, for the past 5 years and probably the next 5 years, go visit the FOH forums

I spent too many hours of my life already reading those forums while setting up for raids, etc. While I used to get laugh after laugh in the rickshaw or rim job forum, I just basically have moved beyond EQ. Apparently not so much though that I will not participate in a multi-page thread on the genre in a clothing forum though, lol.

EQ makes heroin seem like weed, but my bespoke addiction is much worse ;p

I caught an episode of South Park last night. The whole program had to do with WoW. It's been a long time since I laughed that hard. Did anyone else see it?

Oddly enough, Beta 4 for Vanguard came out and I actually bothered to d/l it. It still sucks.

Yea I saw that. That's one of SP's funniest episodes, aside from being a half hour commercial for Blizzard.

I also read the FOH forums daily, though they're not as funny as they used to be.

I play a MMORPG. I play this 24/7, 365 a year (366 on leap years!), and evne when I sleep. It's called "real life" and my character is called "myself".

The best part of this is if I play my cards right, I actually gain real money, level up, and the items I get are not simply lines of code, but actual, physical items.

IT's sort of like WoW/EverCrack/any MMORPG, except magic doesn't exist and PvP is illegal >_>

Are you suggesting the two are mutually exclusive? Because as we all know, posting on a webboard and surfing the 'Net is soooooo much different from spending some time in an online game....right?
