Why are you buying Dockers on a visit to New York?

I'm in search of some slim fit trousers, too, and just spent part of my morning trying some on. I didn't really like Uniqlo's style to be honest (and all of their pants come in a 34 inseam unless you take advantage of their free alterations, which might not work since you don't live in NYC). Club Monaco actually had some on sale for $50 which were pretty decent, but none in any color I was looking for. Let me know how your Dockers journey goes. I believe Nordstorm carries them.

I hate to admit it, but the new slim fit dockers are pretty great. I picked up a pair for $15 on sale at dillards...they arent super dressy, but I wear them on weekends with deck shoes and a chambray shirt. they fit a hell of a lot better than expected.

and a warning on mabitex...they are SLIM. I love em, but Im considering having a bag on the outside to keep ******* and balls in.

You mean their "D1" fit? Looks like they are slightly boot cut, which is why I haven't pulled the trigger yet. (There's no place near me that carries them.) How dramatic is the boot cut?

I have some Dockers D0 (skinny - but they're not skinny at all). Incotex and Mabitex are much better.

I never understood all these disparaging remarks of the nature they're 'nut crushing' - how's that exactly? I mean they're slim but they're not that slim; I suppose it all depends on your build. If you have chicken legs they're really not constraining at all

I have 2 pairs of the D1 fit. Its not so much of a boot cut as straight with no taper down the leg. So while they are listed as slim fit, they are still quite baggy below the knee. I actually had them tapered to match a pair of slim fit Gap khakis and I wear them a lot more now.

not the D1....I believe the D0...theyre the newest fit...the tag says "slim fit" IIRC.

Maybe Im packing more meat in my trousers than you....because they are VERY constraining for me. Im 6'3, and 175lbs...lean, and pretty normal legs.
