Pink underwear is acceptable but a pink sportscoat isn't? [IMG] Don't make me bust out a pair of pink shoes too.
What's that cosmetics company that gives you a pink car?

    Mary Kay. They're always Cadillacs.

how many of you wear pink and for those that do, what are your reasons?

You want me to give reasons for wearing pink? The cheek.

I'm assuming that the OP has not seen that many sartorially advanced men. Or spent much time in a sartorially advanced city. If one needs reasons to wear pink, why not also demand reasons for wearing blue or brown?

Pink is one of the classic colours for men's shirts - so it seems odd to associate it with girlyness. I suspect the OP has issues with his sexuality.

Actually, this thread has reminded me I need to wear pink shirts more often - thanks! [IMG]

    Hear, hear.

EDIT: And YES, I do wear pink. No reasons.

This question is absolutely ridiculous. I read through the first couple pages, but it doesn't even seem to be worth the read before weighing in.

So, to answer the question... Yes, I wear pink.

I have a pink ocbd and a pink non-iron from BB. It's a great color and looks good on most complexions. To be honest, there was a period where I swore I would never wear pink. This was during the late 90s/early 00's when it became very popular to wear pink. (Think of all the BAM shirts, or "real men wear pink" slogan shirts). At this point, it seemed too much like a fad to be worth buying a pink shirt. Although, at one time, I did feel that it was a "womanly" color. After lurking SF for a while, i realized there is nothing wrong with pink. Even still, I doubt I will ever wear a pink t-shirt. It's too reminiscent of the short-lived fad. Also, I probably wouldn't wear pink pants or a pink jacket, but this is only because I don't think I could pull the look off properly.

I would never wear pink in such a bold way like that but I do have a few dress shirts in pink as well as a few ties that I usualy only wear in the spring and summer.

I have a pair of pink socks that I wear occasionally with blue seersucker and a pink shirt. Other than that they don't get a lot of use.

I have tons of light-pink shirts, both dress and casual. No solid pinks though, only appearing in stripes. Only solid pink item I have is a polo which I usually pair with tan khakis or grey shorts.

The only negative comment I've ever received about pink was some high schooler reminding me that pink was "so last year". He probably wasn't born before the fad anyway, so I dismissed it.

I have several pink and pink-check dress shirts. Standard fare for me. I don't see the big deal (but I know others may). It's a pretty traditional color and looks great with my suits.

I wear pink if it happens to come up in my rotation or should the mood strike me. From jackets, pocket squares, shirts, or pants it's all good to me; not all at once obviously.

Just as long as pink is not executed like this you should be okay:

Thank you for a perfect example of why I have never worn pink for the longest time.

I still actually don't have any pink in my personal wardrobe, but if a pink shirt came along that I liked, I see no reason I wouldn't wear it. I borrowed a friend's shirt once that just happened to be pink, and it looked quite good on me.

Most pinks I run into I don't particularly like, though. I don't really like pink polos because they're... well popped collar or not, they remind me of those ^^^^ kinds of guys.

Re: green. I don't have much of this in my wardrobe either. Same reason. I just don't find many shirts in it that I like. If I did, I'd wear it, though.

It's also the manliest color you can wear, because it shows your confident in your musicality.
