If you need one to touch up your lipstick in public then rock on dude!

I say NO! Any look that requires so much fiddling with that you can't get the job done during an occasional visit to the toilet is too fussy! :slapfight:

There is a clue in the name Vanity mirror...

If you're that vain you can 't wait to have a look at yourself even if many mirrors are available around us (car ,toilets and so on), you deserve to carry one on you.

but there are many uses, to check your teeth after a copious business lunch, to remove some food from lips... to make sure nose is clean before an important meeting and so on.
nobody will be on the side of reason?

You point out some legit reasons with the teeth and nose and all. But reason or not, you're gonna have people looking at you funny. Plus you can do that stuff in the restroom after you eat. Dudes checkin themselves with vanity mirrors just seems wrong.

In no order of importance, this is my 'Top 10' list of males that would or would not use a pocket mirror:

    • Alpha Male: NEVER. His ego and the favourable reactions of the people he meets or passes are all the mirror he needs.
    • Regular Masculine Man: NO. Unconcerned, possibly to a fault with what he looks like (present company excluded ofcourse) and would only check in a bathroom.
    • Office Worker: YES. Though he may not admit it, he may have a small concealed mirror somewhere to check himself at his desk before a meeting.
    • Rugged, Outdoor Type: YES. Mirrors can be used to signal for help in an emergency. Were you never a Boy Scout?
    • Gay Man:: 2 answers: Top: NO Bottom, YES.
    • Narcissist:: YES This is not necessarily an Alpha male or a Girly man. He may just be a pretty boy in love with himself and is unconcerned with what the world thinks.
    • Girly Man: YES, are you kidding honey?, and he will look for as many mirrors on the way that he can. He won't miss an opportunity to check. Often mis-diagnosed as a Narcissist.
    • Transgendered Man: YES, at first, while starting transition, and later NO, when his confidence setlles.
    • TEEN: YES. Vanity and the pursuit of quim being the only motivating factors.
    • Hobo: NO. Arguably more Alpha than an Alpha Male but far less likely to breed.

Please check your teeth, nose, and lips in the nearest men's room, not in public with a pocket mirror.
