I have four. One french cuff and one button cuff will usually be the first I reach for when I want to keep it simple. The third is a pinpoint oxford that I treat like an OCBD (tumble dry, not iron) and wear with jeans to kick around in.

Unlike others I don't have a lot of solid blue, only one in heavy twill, but I will probably add a broadcloth (maybe 1 FC & one button cuff) before warm weather returns.

Most of the others are checks and stripes on a white field. A few are white stripes on blue. There is also a pink, a yellow, an a yellow field with navy/light blue/white stripe.

White shirts look good with a blazer even without a tie.

    Mortal sin.

Yes ... only if I don't count the colour in the stripes & checks. [IMG]

I hate white shirts. I own just 2 out of the need for them.

Stripes of all sorts from the traditional to the wild paul smith is more my thing. Also love french cuffs!

I am both gourmet and gourmand and therefore love both patterns/colors and the white shirt.

Almost all of my shirts are white. Ties are a better way to introduce color.

Agreed. You can "change" the whole outfit by wearing different ties.

times like job interviews, important meetings, day parties....

    For work, I usually wear:

    - black
    - purple
    - grey
    - red
    - blue
    - brown

So like many here, like to add some colour and variety.
