Do YOU own extra-long ties?

I have one, inherited, I've only used it a couple of times. I am not short (1.8m) but for sure not the kind of person that would need a longer than usual tie. I reckon there was a fad in italy to make huge knots by wrapping 3 or 4 times (rather than the usual 1 or 2) the tie around itself whilst knotting it, I take it that is why one would buy an extra long tie if looking for a different knot.

I'm 5'4" so an extra-long tie would probably end somewhere around my ankles...

I bought one by accident once. I had it shortened and liked it even less, so I gave it away.

Yes, I am 6'5" and need an extra long tie as I want the ends to be the same length and end up at the belt buckle.
For me a 62" tie is perfect.
As a customer of FIH, I would agree having the keeper placed higher on the tie, as they offer, is a nice touch!

I'm 6'3" and have short legs and a long torso. All but I think one of my ties is normal length, and I have never had a problem with the rear blade not reaching the keeper.

I have one extra-long tie (61 inches). It's okay, but unless the rear blade is absolutely even with the front blade (the preferred military style), the front blade is going to hang lower than my belt.
