Do you lurk, on the dance floor?

In my BB sack, and EG caps, it feels uncomfortable to bust the move with "drop it like it's hot" . 1 am on the edge, of the dance floor, head against the wall, try to look 1/2 asleep to the others (having fun).I don't know nada, about the merengue.

Cold lurking on the dance floor, and after, go home in defeat and sadness.

I find it difficult to dance in proper leather shoes; sneakers are essential. Perhaps your EGs are preventing you from getting down.

I like the wiggliness that leather soles allow, but I try to stay away from places with beer-soaked dance floors.

I find I can only really dance in leather-soled shoes. It makes it a lot easier for spins, turns, and slides.

It's not so much the soles but the inflexibilty of the entire shoe compared to a sneaker. I suppose it depends on the dancing style: certainly in formal dancing (waltzes, etc) leather shoes would be optimal but for club dancing where there is more jumping I think a more flexible shoe is best.

Perhaps, but for the moon walking, I think leather soles are good.

I agree. It's real tough to do the twist in rubber soles. They squeak.

I am never bothered by dancing in leather or rubber soled shoes. Though in a BB sack it might be hard to drop it like its hot. consider wearing khakis and a polo shirt with a sweater on your shoulders. Penny loafers for added coolness.
