I like the cut, but I'm not a fan of pockets on pants -- never have been. Why not just go with the regular Justin?

BTW, I don't do turtlenecks, but I ran into a guy with one at Louis -- I think he had a suede jacket on over it -- and it was a great look. And I like the RLPL turtleneck, though I would never wear it. I really like the Asser shirts -- the black/white one for work and the multistripe one for more of evening/weekend wear (or work if you work at a nonstodgy place). If you can get a code to get you down to $160, I don't think that's a bad price for those shirts. I just hope they fit like they do on the models -- I like that look.

My experience with RLPL is that they are NOT a slim cut shirt. The fit on the models is an illusion. Try one on at the Newbury St. Polo store (a nice little mansion across from Louis) and see how you like it before ordering online.

I do like RLPL shirts, don't get me wrong. And these Lorenzini-made ones are just fine. They just aren't terribly trim in cut.

In my humble opinion, these pants don't know what they want to be. Well-mannered bad boy? Bof. There's got to be smthg better out there, no?

I agree with Fabienne. If you are going to do cargo pants, they need to be a lot more relaxed than those, and either real military surplus or a company like P.A.R.O.S.H., Weber, or Trovata, which are range from haute streetwear (the former 2) to relaxed California (Trovata.) The other RLPL cargos are at least interesting. These are just wierd and out of place.

Agree with Fabienne. They aren't really ugly, but for $225 I cannot see the value.

As for sizing, I tried on an RLPL "small" shirt and fit more like a large. The models on the website are probably wearing two sizes down or using some mad clipping in the back to get that fitted masculine sillhouette. It probably lasts 5 seconds while they have one hand down and one in their pocket.

Good call LA Guy, but I seriously doubt that patrons of RLPL are going to be shopping at Rolo and Atrium to get haute streetwear. I don't see any problem with the brand (agree the other cargos look fine), but the pockets on those pants are so awkward. They're slanted, they don't protrude at all from the fabric.. that's just not how a cargo pant should look.
