I've never used them before, but it looks like my only option with the AE shoes I'm trying out is to throw some in.

Curious as to how many here use them (regardless of shoe brand).

As for the poll, whether you use them on just one pair or many, that's a "yes." Feel free to add nuance or recount your experience in the comments.

What is a heel lift? I do notice some guys treading around tepidly swaying side to side. It's almost as if their ankles are a good 3-4 inches off the ground and either:

1. Always in boots
2. Wearing sneakers and shoes, but their heels are almost coming out of the shoe

I think they call it shoe lift inserts. If so, quite a number of guys wear this these days.

I thought heel lifts were for short men who are upset about being short? I didn't know they served any practical fit purposes at all.

I'd say it is better to own who you are than to pretend otherwise. If you can fix it, then fix it, but if you can't fix it and have to sort of hide it or obscure it, just own it.

Heel lifts - among having other, superficial uses - help people with low foot volume fill out their shoes better.

I've seen plenty of guys and gals use heel lifts then to fill out their shoes in such a way that their heels are barely even in the shoe. Makes total sense. And yes, all were rather short people - about chest height after heel inserts.
