Caffeine deprived headaches are terrible. I have tried taking pills for them, but sadly, a can of Coke works the best.

I've got a very addictive personality too. I smoked pot from 16 to 22 almost everyday when I could afford it. I quit for about a year, now I smoke 5+ times a month and its probably getting worse. I'd love to try blow and other crazy drugs but I can't risk it because I will undoubtedly get hooked.

The company I work for provides free Coke fountains in the break rooms. It pretty much goes without saying that I am hooked on caffeine for real. Major headaches...

Coffee, Red Wine and Cheese. If I was asked to choose only 1 for a deserted island stay my answer would be 'i would rather drown in the ocean than have to choose'.

I struggle greatly with moderation. I have an addictive personality and any time I pick up a hobby or interest, its extreme.

I have to be very careful on things I let into my life. I've struggled with drugs, alcohol, nicotine, cars, vintage video games, aquariums, battlebots... you name it.

The one thing I know I have a problem with that I have very successfully been able to control is gambling... I just don't involve myself in anything that requires risking money. You don't need to get addicted to something to know you would have a problem. And this has actually been really difficult because I do goto the casino about twice a year (never with more than 40 bucks) and will always walk out with several thousand. I know it wouldn't work out that way if I expected it to but I'll be damned if I don't just print money every time I go. Its all about blackjack.

I would say no, but I see the potential. I was on morphine for a bit after surgery and developed a huge mental fixation on it. Took me about three weeks to get over it. There was no physical addiction and I never even got high, since I was actually in pain.

I'll never touch a recreational opiate, apparently my brain loves the stuff.

I'm probably technically addicted to caffeine, in that I'd get withdraw symptoms if I stopped taking it. There's really no mental craving though, so I don't worry about it.

Please forgive me because I don't mean this personal but when I picture the character in your avatar reading this in a dramatic tone it makes me chuckle...

However I can understand the struggle you must have....
