If any of you met my girlfriend in person, you'd probably crack up at the idea that she's the stereotypical sort of high maintenance "cant speaky engrish" Korean type, which is the impression I'm getting from responses here. Quite the opposite is true - the only major distinguishing factor between her and your kick-back Californian girl is her clothing style, and even that is a pretty narrow gap as she wears a lot of American Eagle and Abercrombie - even her English is damn near indistinguishable from standard American English.

That said, if I decide to stop giving her money, I wouldn't even have to mention it, I just wouldn't give it to her, and she would never bring it up. This I'm quite certain about. And the amount that she gives to her parents is a non-issue, especially when she's making more than I am!

The piece of advice I'll take here, besides Piobaire's, is that if I'm going to spoil her, I should do it with gifts and not with money. I'll probably take that into consideration. But I didn't come into this thread worrying about anything and I'm still not worried. And as for the marriage considerations - I'm serious about her, but marriage isn't even a thought in my head. There's a lot of moving around we both have left to do still and even though I plan on staying together, marriage is just too far off to consider.
