Do you enjoy being married?

Simple question - do you enjoy being married?

I've found that overwhelmingly opinions are either silence about their marraige (which I interpret as not bad, but not good) or being told to never get married should I have teh chance. Both from males and females.

What I don't seem to hear is anyone preaching how great it is. Which is odd b/c there's all sorts of preachers in life. Diets, lifestyles, hobbies, television, people love to tell you about how great something is. Oddly, no one preaches about marriage.

So in an open question to get a better understanding - do you enjoy it?

but I wouldn't rush into it. you need to find the right woman, and you need to sow the oats. I was 30 when I got married.

Even though my own marriage turned out to be a real buzz-kill I'd highly recommend it.

I love it. When I think back to all the experiences we've shared, the great kids we have, I would never want to go back and do anything over.

I am not going to lie to you though, I am quite the gourmand when it comes to fresh gash and I occassionally miss sampling some new stuff but my desire for that is no where near my desire for my family.
Sex wise, the great thing is that my typical worse case scenario is a ** with a little prostate massage

We don't all have backs as flexible as yours, however.

I think I met the girl I'm going to marry, but it was only 10 days ago. Plenty of time to be sure, yes?

me too. I think it works best if you dont change anything after you get married that wasnt broken to begin with. too many I know get married then they feel like they have to change certain things in the relationship because they are "married" that they didnt do before they were just dating

+1 and also +1.

I think a bad choice can ruin a life, but a good choice can completely enrich a life.

I think most married men look fondly back on the days of new *****, but a good marriage more than compensates for that IMO. I'm glad I waited until long after most of my friends were settled down, and already had kids. No regrets, and the additions to all other areas of my life that marriage brings, far outweighs any whim to conquer new territory.
