Do you browse the women's shoes section of thrift stores for opera/evening pumps?

No, because She Who Must Be Obeyed (and her Mother) disapprove of secondhand shoes, and I have decided that it isn't worth the hassle. Plus, I am now the owner of a new pair of Church's, which were £20 shipped from a shoe dealer unloading stock on Ebay.

I do a very quick pass of the entire womens shoe section. Not for opera pumps but for mens shoes mistakenly placed there.

I don't think Russian female weighlifters wear evening pumps. I would need a woman's size 13.5 or 14 shoe that's not already randown. Any women with feet that big are fu*kingup some shoes.

I used to buy sneakers on ebay, a very prominent collector was exactly my size, and a woman and I bought several pair from her over the years. She wore men's 10.5 aka womens 12. She was very nice.
