No idea what this is. I find it personally pretty ugly. Also, is this guy sitting on a cardboard box?

Close, it's a wooden box. A percussive instrument actually, called a cajón.

Anyway I'm pretty surprised I can't find a name for these shoes. They're so weird.

Shoes with extra long laces wrapped under and around the sole or the ankle have been around for a decade, mostly done by avant-garde, artisanal handcrafted brands. Pictured are from Barny Nakhle FW14.
