Do these fit?

Hello! I am not so good at fashion, but I need a pair of pants that actually fit me well.

I’ve always just worn straight leg or relaxed and never really thought much about it.

These are slim 511 Levi’s. I have no idea if these fit my body, or if I should go with some other type of fit. I’m quite thin as you will see in the pics

So, any advice appreciated. Trying to get my fashion game into existence here and need your help. Thank you ?

I guess I just don’t even know what a proper fit would be for me, and my body is kind of unique. Wasn’t sure if these are too baggy around thigh area.

What kind of fit would you recommend for my body type?

I don’t care for baggy jeans either but I also don’t like them to cling to my legs.

There are other fits and other brands you could choose from. You could also try raw denim which would let the fabric break in based on your proportions and movement patterns.

This honestly comes down to your personal preference. No matter how good any style may look, if you're not comfortable wearing it. You simply won't.

Personally I agree with your previous post, and these would be too baggy for my liking. You can always experiment with a slimmer style.

Do jeans stretch in the waist over time? These are a bit tight on the waist, but I don’t want to go up a size because then they’re baggy all around.

They are 2% elastic I believe. Levis stretch. They do stretch s little while wearing them but not as much as I’d thought they would.

Jeans will relax a little as you wear them, especially with the added spandex. However, if they're still uncomfortably tight in the waist after a day of wear, you might want to go up a size. Washing them will contract the spandex again, and they may or may not shrink a tiny bit (Levis are inconsistent in this respect).

Levis does make a skinnier style - the 510. You could give those a shot.

The jeans look fine. Slim and not skinny. Good jeans like Levi's wear well over time, soften and feel comfortable the longer you wear them. In time, you'll soon carve out your own style and know what suits you.

I bought the next size up and they seem too loose, almost like a straight leg fit. But the waist is far more comfortable. I guess I’m in between sizes.

Also, my legs are thin so they probably made the jean for people with slightly thicker legs perhaps.

Eesh, buying clothes is not easy is it

Like I said, try the 510s. The 511s are "Slim Fit", 510s are "Skinny Fit". With your build, you're going to want the slimmest/skinniest possible fit available from any brand.

But yes, buying clothes is tough - especially when you can't go to a store to try a bunch of different things on.

Let me sound off from the peanut gallery- Levi's are the worst (2nd place goes to Diesel). They're not comfortable, they fade like crazy, and different pairs always fit differently (same model). My advice is to try a bunch of different brands in your budget.

Haha, i did notice that all the Levi 511s I bought fit very differently in different colors.

I guess I’ll try some skinny fits and go from there.

Hey yall

I ended up trying the Levi’s 510, and they’re a great fit. They don’t even really look skinny on me despite being called skinny, more like a slim

But man, they are uncomfortable. Big time. Restricted range of motion, legs feel like they’re in handcuffs.

Is this normal? Do people just put up with that? I don’t know if I can. Been trying to get used to it, but now I see why I’ve always preferred looser fits. But these look so good it’s hard to let go,
