yea black people are very forthcoming with compliments. ever since i started working out all the black girls at the grocery store always holler at me with things like "you fly" and whenever i buy eggs they ask if i eat them raw and i'm like wtf. then they say just wondering cause your all jacked n ****. pretty entertaining
Maybe the foreigner is looking more Italian than the locals? It reminds me of being in Tuscon and seeing a bus load of Koreans coming from a dude ranch with head to toe brand new western clothing. They looked more like extras in a 1950's Hollywood western movie than anything you would see on a working ranch.

I don't think it had to do with my clothes. If I had to guess, it had to do with being Asian. It was almost as if they figured I would never notice they were staring.
It's the eyes. The I-ties think they are half-closed, so you are not really aware of your surroundings.
