I understand the concept of breaking style rules to create the "sprezzatura" thing and I understand that seems to be the thing right now. I also readily admit that my sense of style runs to what most would call antiquated to just old-fashioned or out-dated. That being said, I'm curious as to whether the majority of people on SF find this look appealing.

Personally, I think too many basic rules are being broken here - i.e. the jacket shouldnt pull when buttoned. The rest is probably a matter of preference, but I think the jacket is too short, the shoes are too bulky for the slim pants, it looks like something is going on with the vent in the back, and I've never been a fan of the 3-inch cuffs.

sprezz is doing one small thing wrong - ideally, so small that only those in the know will get it - in an otherwise classically perfect ensemble, just to show that you're not a slave to the rules. it is not dressing head to foot in the latest "fashion" crap. this clown is the anti-sprezz.
