This guy posted over on /fa/ too. He looked bad there as well.

Really, it is about you losing weight and getting better fitting clothes.

See edit. Nevertheless, I'm confident that the outfits are perfectly acceptable within his peer group. SF, maybe not so much. And ultimately, nobody gives a fuck about SF.

Your shirts need to fit better though. I know some people may not agree with me but I recommend J crew tailored shirts and polo's. I am about 5'7 and around 170 lbs and a medium fits me great. Also, well priced on sale.

Then why is he posting on SF for advice about if he looks stupid?
He could just go outside and ask the frat boy with the spiked hair and beefy hanes tee.

I can only assume that OP sought the advice of SF because he expected some combination of expertise and impartiality on the part of his respondents. If he were to ask someone he knew personally, they might afford him neither quality, or worse, ridicule him to his face. While I understand that this is a literal answer to a hypothetical question, I don't really have the energy to formulate a pithy response at the moment.

Alas, no, I am not the great Casemods. I just used his picture because I wanted to show a connection to /fa/.

First off, this thread made me happy and then sad within 30 seconds.

I see a name, Lauren Tanner, with what appears to be a hot chick. Then I scan the first few lines about "I took some photo's, how do I look etc". I see you just joined! I then quickly decide it's only a matter of time before some sf'ers point out that what's really needed are more pictures, with less clothes, to determine the correct fit for your body type, I then quickily make a folder on my desktop to place what I am expecting to be pictures of a hot chick taking pictures in front of her mirror.....

And then I click a link and I see you!!!!!! :censored:

short sleeve button-ups are blah, don't wear them. Polos need to be a little more fitted at the waist.

Shorts make most guys look stupid. Depending on the weather, and how much you care about looking stupid vs being comfortable, don't wear them.

The shoes are probably okay with some outfits, but I wouldn't have them as a go to.

Shirts are too baggy, shoes are ok, don't wear shorts unless your legs are tanned enough to not look like a cancer patient out for a day at the beach.

Yes. A faux fur collar, flared jeans, and anime hair would make his look pop.

Like ^^ said, polo shirts need to be fitted. They seem to be stacking around the waist, so it probably needs to be shortened + taken in. Goes for oxford shirts as well.

I would work on color combination and texture.

For suggestions, I would get a harrington jacket. Also, I really suggest you get a pair of bucks, and probably a pair of desert boots.

This is so true. If you don't look athletic or skinny in your lower body, shorts really do look silly. Nobody wants to see fat guys showing skin.

Shirts look excessively long/baggy, and I'm not digging the shorts, personally. You're in high school, so every typical athletic student is going to be doing the same thing as you. If anything, you're trying too hard to fit in with the boring crowd, style-wise.
