Do black selvage denim jeans fade?

As in, do some places in the jeans become more grey-ish?

I feel like this is one of those "are you serious?" questions...

They'll fade about as much as your black Kenneth Cole trousers. Overdyes tend to be slower to fade and aren't known for their contrast the way standard jeans are. I love wearing my black r&b overdyes exactly for this reason. The only fading I can see is roping around the hems but it's dark grey, not near-white like these black jeans:

Ah, thanks. I wasn't sure if you were being sarcastic or not with the "good luck" comment. I guess they won't really fade, but that's OK. How's the quality of this company? The fit should be good according to Context measurements of the indigo version.
