Do all Nikes have good foot support?

I have Converse all stars, and while stylish, hurt like a ***** after wearing them for 5 minutes.

But I have a pair of Nike Shox, which are on the opposite end of the spectrum compared to the chucks, and they have these like shock absorber things in the back, and they're super comfortable and my feet never hurt.

But if I just got a regular pair of Nikes and just did everyday walking, would I still be comfortable/supported?

Most likely, yes, however, maybe a little less than the shocks, but much more support than chucks.

I might be being a little harsh here but I hated my pair of Nike shox so much that I gave it away to goodwill. For a start, they aren't the most stylistically aesthetic shoe for streetwear and even for sports, the height of the heels fucked me ankles up big time.

I am not even going into the cleaning up on wet or snowy and muddy days. Aside from the Converse, are your other shoes causing pain as well? From what i hear, those shock absorbing shoes tend to weaken your foot over the long run.

If you're worried about the comfort of Nike when walking I'd had to hear what you think about some gentlemen's shoes. All Nike sneakers are sneakers and made for comfort and performance, otherwise well, they wouldn't be Nike's.

Maybe they've released some principle-breaking styles in the decades they've been around, but thats trivial.

Well the converse seriously hurt like a ***** not 5 minutes after wearing them. Which makes me sad because i want to buy so many. But the Shox are very comfortable, very worn-in and loved now and still provide good support so I can walk on them for hours at a time.

I guess a good compromise would be another pair of Nikes though right? More of a normal pair? A lot of their shoes look funky

The idea of someone with a fedora and shox seriously scares me.

converse + gel insoles =

I had the same problem with chucks as well as boat shoes but then i just got some gel insoles and problem solved. I work on my feet all day on concrete and the first time i wore boat shoes to work i was practically limping by the end of the day. gels took care of that.

I think OP needs to say what sort of style of shoe he's looking for, a big NO to any sort of Nikes in a non-athletic situation, 7th grader status.

If you'd like something similar to chucks, try Jack Purcells, they come with a nicer and removeable insole and have a little bit of extra padding.

Put an extra pair of insoles in the converse. It makes a HUGE difference, mine are so comfortable now from doing that.

I have a pair of Nike Air Turbulance and they are great shock absorbing shoes, I would never wear them like out with streetwear, but for the Gym, running, and jazz like that, they are good shoes.

As someone who used to work for Nike, I can tell you that there are just as many Nikes out there (particularly in the lifestyle lines) which can be as uncomfortable. I would say also, that most Shox are gimmicky, with the exception of the Shox TL. I'd recommend avoiding most nikes (with some exceptions) if you're worried about stylish streetwear. Save them for the Gym. That said, the insole recommendation is pretty good. Also look at building up your foot strength and you'll be much more tolerant of uncomfy shoes.
