I rewatched The Whole Nine Yards the other night. Jimmy “The Tulip” Tudeski’s fit looks like something right from Instagram.

If anyone wants a bit of a peak at ocean freight and suppliers to businesses in the US there's sites that scrapes import customs documents that's searchable... kind of mind boggling what you can find. There's not air freight info but some interesting stuff to dig into.

Interesting article in the Wash Post today on the Instagram site "Preachers and Sneakers." Not a surprise with the amount of money passing through their hands.

"On his feed, Kirby has showcased Seattle pastor Judah Smith’s $3,600 Gucci jacket, Dallas pastor T.D. Jakes’s $1,250 Louboutin fanny pack and Miami pastor Guillermo Maldonado’s $2,541 Ricci crocodile belt. And he considers Paula White, former president Donald Trump’s most trusted pastoral adviser who is often photographed in designer items, a PreachersNSneakers “content goldmine,” posting a photo of her wearing $785 Stella McCartney sneakers."

So looks like GAP is done with their Hillcity brand but putting out a fitness line again. With the upcoming Kanye collection, I'm curious if this will be enough to move the needle. Is it too late?

Weird - apparel retail is such a bad ROI sector. So many PE firms took a bath with those investments. Go figure

I know. I'm sort of expecting a bankruptcy filing now in a few years since a PE firm bought them.

Lots of interesting geopolitical issues here. KOLs breaking contracts. Where would these cases be tried? Hong Kong?
Olympics in Japan and China coming up... sponsorships at risk and opportunities for political actions/ protests/ grandstanding are pretty high.
