I’m not sure what lead to these BRooks Brothers wing tips becoming discolored. Does anyone have any experience with what could have caused it or if it the discoloration can be lessened or addressed entirely?

Im not sure but any chance that it is shoepolish or from your sole. I usually get marks like that from rubbing my feet together when crossing my legs at a desk. If that is the case a strip and some new polish and wax should suffice.

Yup, or getting in contact with subway doors‘ rubber gaskets. A gentle rub with just a little saphir renomat will usually remove this, but you need to recondition with cream and the protect with wax afterwards
