Disadvantages of a distinctive tie

The anonymous CIA analyst who led the effort to identify Bin Laden's location may have been outed due to his distinctive yellow tie.

Personally, I think it's irresponsible of Young to have released this information, and equally irresponsible for the press to be publishing it.

one has to wonder what kind of moron publishes that information, might as well publish the guy's address, even if he had nothing to do with the whole thing, he is royally screwed

and, for whatever is worth, that's some ugly tie..

or, to save taxpayer dollars, perhaps they all be issued multiple identical copies of a tie that is issued Company wide. It is blasphemy, I know, but it would definitely be easier for them to get dressed, and spies are not supposed to be easily recognizable anyway.

But if every spy wore the same tie then everybody would know that person was a spy, yes?
