On his Photobucket he's got several thousand photos of clothing from Dior and similar luxury brands, which suggests he sells a lot of stuff. For example, he's got a bunch of photos of some ugly D-Squared shoes, and who's going to counterfeit D-Squared shoes?

That said, he only has 8 sales under his Ebay name. I might buy some shoe polish from someone with that slim of a sales history, but not a $300 item. Especially from Italy, where even if it is real, you might not see it for six months thanks to their postal system.

I can pretty much guarantee that its a fake.

That coat has been highly replicated and such replicas are easily available from asian sites for around £60 + p&p. I have not seen a replica of this coat in the flesh, but have seen a replica polo shirt from one such asian seller and it came with all the correct(ish) tags etc. Still, very minor details such as quality of the Dior label, price tag material etc were all slightly off.

No advice intended by this, but if you want that jacket in replica form, you can get it much cheaper. Of course, I do not condone this - I am, instead, simply saying a replica could be had much cheaper than this ebay one.

I haven´t seen any fakes of this coat but I do know that usually you can tell by the quality of the stitching especially when it comes to attaching labels etc. One is never sure until one has the actual article but despite the relatively small history this person has the coat seems real. The only question is is this the coat that will be delivered? Have you tried contacting them to get more pics. If they have the genuine article then one or two more pics shouldn´t be a problem

Why would you think a few year old coat is cheap at that price?

It would have been gone on end of season sale over a year ago. Then sent to an outlet or jobber. The outlet would have put it on deep discount a few months ago.

The attachment of the labels is a big thing, a mate of mine had an old 06 dior homme duffle coat and i found one on ebay, but the ebay one's labels were stitched very differently and was also missing a few stitches compared to my mates real one.

Thanks for the advice on the copy, won't get one, not a fan of fake/replicas.

Will def ask for more photos.

Thanks again for the help everyone
