I am thinking about buying a pair of dior homme jeans. I tried on a pair in size 29 waist, which is pretty close to my real waist size, maybe a bit smaller and I thought they fit great. If it matters they were 19cm ones. If I want to maintain this fit after wearing them for several months and then washing them do I need to size up or down?

Raws are vanity sized. If your true waist is a size 30, you get a 28. If your true waist is a 28, a 26. Since jeans are made from cotton, they will stretch with wear, so if you want to maintain that fit, you want to size down.

Is $250 a good price for them from a retail store?

It depends if they are made in Italy or in Japan.

$250 is a pretty good retail on MIJs. I have not often spotted them on discount.
