Ok so i had some shirt tailored for the first time a little while ago. The tailor sort of folded the shirt inwards on the left and right side of the edge of my back, like where the back of your arm rests.
I have seen the Pinch and Pin method. My question is, is the Pinch and pin method the standard?
The way this tailor did it looks fine. When the shirt is on you cannot really tell unless you look really close.
I am guessing the guy did it this was for two possible reasons. 1. It is fast cheaper and easier to fold and stitch. 2. If the shirt is not cut and material is not removed, at a later date if you put on weight you can left the shirt out.
So my question is, should i go back to this guy or find someone new? The method he used is it legit?
