Difference between male and female beanies?

I’m curious to know what’s the difference between male and female beanies. From the images attached below, there doesn’t seem to be any discrepancies besides the second model having more hair. I bring this up because one of the male versions (in another color) is sold out but the womens is still available.

I have beanies from men's and women's labels. There's no real difference.

As you know, SSENSE has separate sections for men's and women's garments, and that specific example is likely the same beanie styled on different models for the two sections.

Given the androgynous nature of the modeling and the $265 price tag, I don't think they intended it to matter whether the beanie is gender-conforming. You're good with either one.

fwiw average female noggin is something like 22.5" around
average male coconut is going to be more like 24.5" around
it can make a diff so far as how the crown sits or tightness whatever but there it is
