Difference between a boyfriend tee and a normal mens tee

Hi guys,
Earlier this morning, I came across a boyfriend tee wen I was hunting for a new tee. (I am a man by the way). But that boyfriend tee looks so cool and I thought if I buy it then it would be great. Before I decided to buy it, I tried to do a little digging regarding how it fits compared to men's normal tees on both Youtube and Google. Surprisingly, there were not many articles or video about this topic, which I think that its pretty weird. Plus I don't have any background in fashion so I don't know how certain types of clothing should fit.

My question is, what are the differences (fit wise) between a boyfriend tee and a normal t shirt men wear? Is it the length? Is it just a rebranded women's oversized t shirt?

Thanks guys
