Did the price of Peals go up?

I swear these were $448 only a few months ago. $598 for Peals seems awfully steep.

Yes. they were $488 prior. Now they cost the same as the cordovan =[ might as well get cordovan.

Looks like they raised prices across the board by quite a bit. I wonder why? It's way more than the typical annual mark-up.

Their Peal selection also seems to have shortened. Wonder if they are moving away from C&J / AS?

Was their cordovan collection usually made in the US (i.e. Alden / AE)? I noticed the C&J boots are gone too.

I guess it makes the Peals I got in December for $150 all that much better a deal (lots of screw ups at the store lead to substantial discount).

Peal is just a brand wjust imagine if they now cost $1,000,000. They would have been the deal of the century!
