Did my own patinas on some shoes. Looking for opinions

I gave shoe dying a try for the first time. Here are the before and after pics:

I am not too crazy how the last ones turned out. They were a bit darker than I wanted on the toes. Maybe I will like them more if I put on some contrasting laces.

My next ones I'm thinking of doing a navy to buckskin fade on some wholecuts I have lying around.

I think you're on the right track, everything turned out amazing except the last ones.

Working on these. Since it's a fade on whole cuts it's a bit more finicky. Wish I had an airbrush.

These darkened up a lot once polished. Still in process. Now just trying to figure out what to wear them with. Look good with jeans.

I loved the first and last myself. The others are a bit too yellow-focused for me.

I also don't think the green/yellow goes as great on those wholecuts. Maybe if the yellow was closer to a chartreuse?

Well, I acetoned and scuffed them down, then died blue. The blue looked really good. But after polishing looked green again. The fade between brown and "green" is much better now, but time to call it quits with this pair.
