Did anyone else in SF feel those two little tremors?

Not even a half hour ago I felt these two little tremors. I thought it was someone from downstairs slamming things, until the guy at the back of the house said he felt them too.

A roommate just got home, saying his whole classroom shook.

The magnitude of the Japanese quake has left me wondering if the whole Ring of Fire isn't going to start lighting up soon.

I wouldn't worry about it, Seattle has a much larger gun aimed at her than we do.

j/k, tonight I'm double checking my fresh water, canned food and gold bullion supplies.

Think 'bedrock & elevation' .

Long term Seattle probably has the worst odds of any major US city - volcanoes, mega-quakes and tsunamis, it's got 'em all.

Go to the Dollar Store and stock up on water - the more the better. You'll thank yourself. Having been in some doozies, there was an immediate run for H2O at the markets right after the quake.
