Hey,

I'm heading up to NYC Friday and I want to get a Diana camera to document our (my brother and I) trip. Does anyone know where I can get one...and fast? Thanks.

i don't think they make those anymore, but i could be wrong. check the classifieds at photo.net or ask the question there.

or try lomography.com for something similar.

A lot of those Soviet era 120 cameras are as cheap or cheaper than the Diana camera. And they built them with some semblance to Germanic quality.

You can get Holga cameras at B&H (9th and 34th). Practically speaking, they are the same as Dianas.

Yeah, they stopped making them in 1967 I believe.

I'm really looking for a Diana. In my mind, it shoots completely different than a Holga. More noirish. Thanks for the recommendations though, the search goes on!

You might be able to get one off ebay or, as mentioned, the photo.net classifieds.

I think I'm going to have to just bite the bullet and get a Holga. Does anyone know where I can get one overnighted? Lomography doesn't offer shipping upgrades unfortunately.
