Do I have insurance? Yes. Do I have time to go the doctor? No. If I do, its gonna have to be 2 weeks from now. Therefore.. lets hear what some of you athletic guys have to say. I think I have tendinitis.
About 4 years I was playing basketball indoors. I planted hard on the my right heel and immediately felt a sharp shooting pain going up from my heel to the outside of my ankle. The right ankle felt pretty bad but I could still walk fine. I went to vegas the same night for a bachelor party and drank away the pain to the point that I was walking fine and jumping up and down. Not a very smart move. From that point on the inflammation on the right side of my ankles has gone down by I do not have full movement in the ankle, furthermore there is a fluid filled pocket directly where the joint is on the front right of my ankle, I have bouts of pain even when walking but nothing severe enough to warrant a doctor visit. The ankle has been this way for about 4 years now. Last saturday, I went to go play basketball and my ankles is killing me now, it is swollen and the pocket of fluid is bigger.
Since I never went to a doctor for it, I think the ankle is just screwed at this point and I have old man tendinitis. Do you think draining the ankle will help any?
