1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I assume so, but I don't know for sure.

Glad to hear it. I honestly don't even mind waiting a day or two if it means I get to save $10. May 15 is between my MBA and law school graduations, so there will be lots of IRL stuff going on.

Do you have to do the whole Beta Profile Setup to get the beta?

And my OSX is X.5.8 not X.6.8.

Well, I might be building myself a new PC a year earlier than I expected.

This is pretty cool. I can't imagine it'd be much fun playing solo the whole way, though.

    Bro downloaded beta =\

    edit:
From initial gameplay, it looks real fun and I can see myself just spending hours on every detail playing through the game. Not a good omen

The "Login" button is greyed out on the home screen. It's even grey after I put my battle.net name and pass in.

you're probably experiencing what i did too.

you have to create a different battle net username. it's going to be your email address. then you have to create a tag that your friends will find you by.

so my battle net login is my email address but my tag is SixSpeed#1710

That was it! Kept me out of the game for a while too. I put my email address in, then had to make a tag.

I never played previous Diablo games. I think the controls are outdated. I see this as making a new GTA game now, but only with the top down view of the PS1 GTAs. I really love the world though. The music and all the little details are great. The rats on the floor, the way your footsteps change depending on what surface you're on, and just the art in general. Things are cartoony, but still have a serious tone.
