    NP.

Also keep in mind they changed how the questing system works. Let's say your friend is much higher level than you but you want to play in the same game to chat/buff monsters for more exp. He cannot jump to ahead to a further Act to quest on his own. The game's quests, including waypoints, will lock to whoever creates the game.

I'm not sure why they made that change but I liked the old D2 system where people could quest independently in multiple acts within the same game.

I'm curious, do you guys think the auction house will have some legs? I know in its prime D2 items and characters on ebay were fetching some pretty ridiculous $$$.

i like the new system which prevents the dreaded "this quest cannot be completed in this game" which was extremely frustrating. nothing was worse than questing through a game and having a lvl 90 mf sorc show up to take advantage of the stronger monster mf boost from full games and wipe every boss worth mentioning. having games specifically based on quests gives more areas of the game better replay value and will let players to play through the game instead of getting WP's and flying through, although that option will always be there if they want to.

im pretty sure there's a character limit of $250 per character iirc, so it will be interesting to see how much gear that equates to. bliz has stated that randomization is king, so endgame gear will ultimately fall to perfectly rolled blues/yellows. i'd be interested to see how much more a 200% ED sword fetches than a 198% ED sword, given how anal people were about getting perf this or that in d2.

I see. I rarely quested with randoms. Fortunate enough to have a bunch of friends that play the same games, so it was usually private except for cow level grinds.

I thought the $250 was per item...

I know, I was being slightly facetious. [IMG] Even though I understand it's a habit, and they die hard, it's just so unfitting in the rest of the Diablo-context.

I think Piob has used the word "toon" before.
